Come Meet Your Kin
The Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University will be hosting “Come Meet Your Kin,” the 2009 Printmaking and Drawing BFA show. This event is the culmination of a two-year long, world-renowned experimental printmaking program in which students are urged to explore a wide variety of printmaking techniques and other media. The investigational nature of this curriculum has yielded a graduating class whose works demonstrate a rich diversity of process and concept. The show is comprised of traditional prints and mixed-media works on paper as well as sculpture and participatory installation. Please join emerging artists Rani Rautela, Anisa Phillips, Daniel Lubniewski, Tony Garbarini, Jane Philipps, Sarah Bernstein and Joey Korein at the Des Lee Gallery on April 17th from 5 to 8pm in celebration of their inquisitive new work.
